We're saying our vows at the Sheraton Grand Jakarta at Gandaria City, in the leafy south of the city. The easiest thing is simply to stay with us there and roll out of bed to the celebration.
But if you'd like more room, a different budget, or to be closer to the restaurants and bars, we've gathered a few favourites nearby too. Here's the lay of the land.

With the mall attached, dinner, a cinema and a supermarket are all under cover - ideal for older relatives, the wedding party, and anyone who values convenience above all.
A few practicalities for the journey from the airport and the days around the wedding.
Soekarno-Hatta (CGK) is the main international airport, about 32 km out - roughly 30 minutes off-peak, but allow 60+ in traffic. Halim (HLP) is closer at ~16 km, mostly domestic.
Hotel transfer. The Sheraton runs a paid airport shuttle (about IDR 512k one-way, reserve ahead) and private cars on request - arrange through the concierge.
Grab or Bluebird are the cheaper way in - roughly IDR 180-250k by taxi from CGK (indicative). Both are easy to book in English from the arrivals hall.
Book early. Rates climb on weekends and around the wedding date - lock in your room as soon as you can.
Leave a buffer for the wedding day. Even from a nearby hotel, Jakarta traffic can turn a short hop into a long one.
Book through official channels. For the Sheraton, reserve only via marriott.com or the Bonvoy app - never pay via WhatsApp or social media.
Cards & cash. Cards work nearly everywhere, but keep some rupiah for taxis, tips and the smaller spots.
From a top-floor splurge to a smart-value pick by the venue - all an easy ride from the wedding, and most within reach of the food-and-bar scene.

The standout splurge: a glamorous tower in the heart of SCBD, steps from the Senopati nightlife, with a dazzling 65th-floor rooftop bar and a serious dining lineup (Morimoto, Tom Aikens, Cantonese). For guests who want the hotel to be part of the trip.
